» Kukal Cave: Located at a
distance of 40 km from Kodaikanal, is a favourite camping site for
trekkers.
The Kurinji Andavar Temple: This temple is 3.2 km away
from town, and is dedicated to Lord Subramanya.
» Flora &
Fauna Museum: East of the town centre, about 3 kms south down Law's
Ghat Road, is the Flora and Fauna Museum (daily except Sun 10-11.30 am
& 3.30-5 pm). It has a collection of stuffed animals.

Other Places: There are many places in Kodai that have become an
attraction among tourists like Pillar Rocks, Coaker's Walk, Dolphin's
Nose, Orchid House & Silver cascade Falls and many others.
Shopper's Delight:
The
Cottage Crafts shop in the Main Street has some very good stuff for sale.
It is run by Corsock, The Coordinating Council for Social concerns in
Kodai. This organisation is staffed by volunteers who sell crafts on
behalf of development groups, using commission charged to help the needy.

and minimum temperatures are around 17.3 and 8.3 degree Summers: In summer
average maximum and minimum temperatures are around 19.8 degree and 11.3
degree respectively.

» Airway: Nearest airport is at Madurai. Buses and cars are easily available from
Madurai airport to Kodaikanal.
» Railway: Nearest railhead is
Kodai Road.
» Roadway: Buses from Madurai and Dindigul climbs
the spectacular road up the steep hillside to Kodai. Regular bus services
are available from Kodaikanal to Kodai Road, Theni, Erode, Kumuli,
Bangalore, Coimbatore, Palani and Trichy.
